You might be surprised by all the options you have at your disposal to advertise business opportunities over the Internet. There are more ways than you may realize at first glance to advertise online. I'll list some of the more popular methods below.

 

Remember it is wise to spread your advertising interests around as much as possible and you should feel free to delegate some of the less favorable functions of advertising to someone else if it's going to cut into activities that might be more productive for you.

 

Here are a few no-nonsense locations where you can advertise business opportunities on the World Wide Web.

 

1) Forum signatures. This is quickly becoming a favored choice of those who have party plan businesses that are looking to drum up virtual bookings or live bookings within their communities and/or close to home. If you are an active and productive participant in most forums you are welcome to include a signature line that directly links to your business website. Check the rules before you do this though to make sure it is allowed and that you meet the requirements.

 

2) Banner advertisements. Of course you will want to advertise your business opportunities on sites that will be receptive (and responsive) to this advertising method so it might be in your best interest to limit your budget to those sites that deal with men and/or women who currently do or want to work from home.

 

3) Article marketing. This is sometimes referred to as bum marketing and is one of the most effective methods to advertise business opportunities online. You can use articles to direct traffic towards your landing page and gain all sorts of interest in your weekly newsletter. All you really need to do is create articles that are informative and entertaining to read.

People are always asking how to make extra money. They are wanting to put some money into savings or pay down their debt. You have almost unlimited possibilities to make extra money even if do work full-time. The best way to make a secondary income is to do something you enjoy like a hobby and get paid for it.

 

Anyone that has a knack for selling items, or is a collector, or even someone just good with computers can sell on eBay. You can setup an eBay account and start selling items that are just laying around the house or stored in boxes that you never use anymore. People will be glad to take these items off your hands and you will gain cash for things you are allowing to collect dust.

 

You can put your hobby to work by getting a booth at the local fair or festival and selling your creations. Blankets, throws and wood carvings are good ideas of items to sell. Visiting a few festivals and fairs can give you a good idea of what sells well and where would be a good location for your booth.I f you are artistic you can do caricatures of people at festivals or in the park on the weekends. You can also paint murals or make paintings at home and sell them.

 

Who would not want a beautifully landscaped yard? If you have a green thumb then you can offer your services to others who don't. They would be glad to pay you for a nicely landscaped yard. You may be surprised at how much homeowners and businesses will pay for your services. If you prefer not to work in other people's yards then you could just grow your own plants and sell them at a local market. Fruits and veggies also sell well there.

 

If you are musically inclined you can give singing lessons or guitar lessons. Moms are always looking for someone to teach their kid how to play the piano. If you don't mind performing you could book gigs at weddings and other events. 

 

If you want to make extra money then you have plenty of options to chose from. You can turn your hobby into your second income or you could just do a part time job that you like.  Either way these will help you reach your financial goals.

Before you can have a successful home based business, you must first possess 3 "intangibles." These are things that must come from WITHIN you.

 ===> Intangible 1 <===

First,you must have a strong WHY.

Why MUST you have a successful home business? What is driving you? What is it that you CAN'T have in your life anymore and/or what is it that you absolutely MUST HAVE now?

For me, I couldn't stand working 12+ hours a day anymore and missing the experience of my children growing up. I also absolutely HAD TO HAVE the freedom of being able to control my life and finances through a little box (laptop computer) that I could carry with me anywhere in the world and not be tied to anyone's time pressures or demands but my own. That was my carrot and my stick. I felt a great pain deep in my gut of missing out on my children's lives and the incredible freedom that succeeding in a home based business would provide for me. I found my why. You MUST find yours.

You must BELIEVE that it is possible.

If you don't believe that it's POSSIBLE for you to have a successful home based business or make your living from home, you won't. It's that simple.

For me, figuring out that it was possible was just a matter of realizing that many other people were ALREADY making great money working from home. If they could do it, I could too. It would just be a matter of figuring out what those people were doing and then adapting it to my situation.

There is no shortage of undeniable PROOF that people (millions of them) are making money working from home. In fact, making money with affiliate programs or making your living on the Internet is WAY MORE than possible. It is pretty much (or will be soon enough) unavoidable now. Affiliate marketing is the "job" of the future that's already here TODAY.

You must be willing to MAKE THE LEAP.

Ready, FIRE, then aim... This is the operating philosophy you MUST adopt to succeed with a home based business.

That's backwards for most people who like to aim before they fire. The fact is that home based business success is a moving target... The only thing constant about it is change. You need to stop analyzing the game and simply jump into it. You can't learn from the outside... You have to be *IN THE RING* to truly understand and profit from it. In fact, this is a business where you can truly be earning WHILE you're still learning...

The lesson here is that you will never really be READY to start a home based business. You simply have to start one. It's like having children... You're never really ready, but when it happens you adapt and grow and therefore you succeed. This is what I call: "Making the Leap"!

In the "brick and mortar" world you need to evaluate things very carefully before you decide to open up a business.
